Because of casting defects, internal stress and overload operation, local damage often occurs to the coiler, such as the cylinder surface defect, cylinder surface scratch, etc. The conventional repair method is welding, but welding often leads to thermal deformation or stress of parts, especially thin-walled parts. Moreover, some parts are made of cast iron, aluminum alloy and titanium alloy, which are difficult to be welded. It is a "cold welding" technology, which can avoid thermal stress deformation, at the same time, the material has good adhesion, compression resistance, corrosion resistance and other comprehensive properties, can largely meet the use requirements of various equipment components, so as to effectively ensure production with low cost investment. Compared with the traditional method, this method can realize the field repair without disassembly and machining, with low maintenance cost and short cycle. It plays an increasingly important role in the maintenance of the roll cylinder.

When reeling or uncoiling, the winder must be pulled from one end under pressure. If the pulling distance is too large, the drum tension adjustment will be affected, resulting in imperfect printing drum or low quality print registration. The pull roll is used to isolate the tension of the drum or to help elastic, brittle and soft materials pass through the drum. The linear speed is determined by the pull roll between the reeling mechanism and the uncoiler mechanism. The common drawing and rolling are vise type and s-wrapped type. The vacuum drum is another way to isolate the drum tension. Many flexographic printing machines have matching rollers.
There are many similarities in many places. The difference is just:
1: The reels of the winder are relatively soft, there may be damage or broken ends inside, the edges on both sides are not neat, and the width of the web can not be directly used in paper processing or printing machines.
2: The rewinder mainly completes three tasks: first, cutting the raw edge of the base paper; second, cutting the whole base paper into several widths that meet the user's specifications; third, controlling the roll diameter of the finished paper roll to meet the factory specifications.
